This is hands down on the best hotels I've ever stayed at the entire staff are just fantastic. Justin and Diego went out of their way all the time for use. (We worked night shift so mainly saw these two but every one was awesome). The house keepers worked with us to clean our rooms after we left for work in the afternoon and everything. If you are traveling and looking for a great place to stay for a while give this place a try it is wonderful.

The staff were excellent. Very clean with the most comfortable bed Ive slept in outside mine at home and the price is just amazing value.

We stayed with my boyfriend, the hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly. In terms of transportation, there is the G subway line 10 blocks away, accessible to be able to combine with the different lines and reach Manhattan. The area is very safe, both day and night. Regarding a supermarket, there is one on the corner, with a wide variety of products. Good price/quality ratio. Highly recommended!!

Came for work in Brooklyn navy yard and this was cheapest 4 star. Stay was great value and I can see why it is highly reviewed

Got it at a great price , well connected and nice enough neighbourhood, especially as a solo traveller.The place was clean, but the bed is short for tall people you would have to lie sideways. Also my safe was not working on the first day, …

This hotel is so lovely. I cannot understand where the bad reviews are coming from at all. I'm a Harlem resident and I've stayed all over this city, only a few times in BK, mostly in Manhattan - and all hotels have chips and wear, even the hotels across the bridge that are much, much more expensive than this...the rooms are clean, the water DOES get hot, I was immediately shocked by how big the room was. Everyone said the balconies don't have views, well, when I checked in, I asked simply for a balcony, no view at all, and was kindly given the best view in the hotel, period...closest to the city. Only some of the balconies are close to the brick wall, and, when you understand how rare it is for your NYC hotel to have a balcony at all, it's much more appreciated...that's not a typical amenity especially at this price point. I got much more than I expected and immediately extended my stay right after I checked in. Kitchen, coffee pot, microwave, bathtub, fridge all included. Someone mentioned that the staff are all young/inexperienced...this is not at all the case. Thanks Condor for a great stay!

First and most importantly I felt very safe as a solo female traveler staying at Aura as well as walking in the area around the hotel. Bed was comfortable; and a spacious room for New York standards.. The front desk staff was friendly. Only negative goes to the towels, they’ve seen better days. Definitely would stay there again.

Stayed during a winter storm and was surprised with how beautiful the lobby and rooms are. Pictures don't really do it justice. Heat worked great and beds had nice duvets, comforters, and blankets for a winter stay.
